Admission Requirement

For New Applicants:
  • West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or
  • Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or
  • National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) Level 3 Certificate or
  • National Apprenticeship Training Authority (NAPTEX) Certificate level 3
For Medicine Counter Assistant, a minimum of 6 credits thus the C6 or better level in relevant subjects (Mathematics, Integrated Management, Biology, Chemistry).
Kalamed College's MCA Programme Medicine Counter Assistants (MCA)
Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) training is a programme designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to support pharmacist in dispensing medicines at the pharmacy shops , OTC, Hospitals, and other healthcare settings.

Training & Development

To become an MCA You are required to undergo a 3 months classroom lectures and 3 months industrial attachement followed by Pharmacy Council licensing Exam. A final certification is issued by the Pharmacy Council after successfully passing the licensing Exam.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement for the MCA course is WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent.

These experiences enhance students' confidence, employability, skills, and knowledge, preparing them for success in their chosen fields.
